The New York Knicksare for sale.Knicks equity goes public October 27. We are going to buy as much as possible.
History
Cablevision takes full control of Madison Square Garden, and the Knicks with it.

The Garden leaves Cablevision. The Knicks go public, bundled with the Rangers, the arena and the networks.

The teams split from the venues. The Knicks become MSGS, still shared with the Rangers.

The Rangers split off. For the first time, the Knicks trade on their own: MSGK.

For 30 years, the Knicks only came bundled. Now is our chance.

The plan
Fans buy $NYK. The reserve buys the Knicks.
- 01$NYK opens for trade.
Fees from trading, issuance and origination add to the market’s reserve.
- 02The reserve grows.
Permanent capital compounds with onchain activity.
- 03The reserve buys $MSGK.
Shares of the Knicks are acquired regularly via a keeper.
Purchases start once the reserve is activated.
The presale
First, fill the Garden.
$25 lights one tile of Madison Square Garden. $1M lights all 40,000.
How it works
- 01Trading.
The market issues $NYK and buys it back from its own reserve. Buying lifts the price; selling brings it back toward the minimum.
- 02The minimum rises.
Fees and growth add to the reserve and lift the minimum over time.
- 03The reserve goes to work.
Fully redeemable until it’s activated. Then 80% buys $MSGK, 10% stays as liquidity and 10% goes to the protocol.

+About these numbers
Each option is one run of the House simulator at the launch settings. It shows one possible path. New buying over the first 90 days takes the $NYK market cap to the selected level. That takes about $2.9M, $5.4M or $11.6M of new money. Market cap is market price × tokens issued. Holders sell and rebuy throughout, about 9× a year once the market matures.
The position is valued at day-90 market prices, after the 10% presale commission. A large sale moves the price.
Looping borrows against $NYK and buys more, in one step. Loops are non-liquidatable. Looping opens with the market. Up to about 20× at launch, less as the price rises. The 2× and 3× options loop at launch. They are shown after the 3.5% borrowing fee and net of the loan.
The reserve is fully redeemable until the administrator activates the acquisition reserve. The simulation activates it at $2M. On activation, 80% goes to the acquisition reserve, 10% to the liquidity reserve and 10% to the protocol. The figure shown is the acquisition reserve at day 90. MSGK purchases sit outside the simulation.
Fees on $NYK: 1% to buy, 2.5% to sell. Simulator run of October 14, 2026 (build f6059c3d, seed 0).

Questions
Who holds the Knicks shares?+–
An administrator holds them, apart from the market’s reserve. $NYK is a position in the market itself.
How is MSGK bought?+–
The administrator activates the acquisition reserve. On activation, 80% of the reserve goes to the acquisition reserve, 10% to the liquidity reserve and 10% to the protocol. The administrator uses the acquisition reserve to buy MSGK, on- or offchain as available. The administrator holds the shares apart from the market’s reserve. Purchases are published as they happen.
What happens if MSGK gets tokenized?+–
The market is built for it. Once MSGK trades onchain, the acquisition reserve buys it directly, in a single transaction, and every share it holds can be verified onchain. Nothing about $NYK changes.
What is the reserve asset?+–
It’s called KNX. Purchases are paid in USDC and settle in $NYK. The KNX leg happens automatically. It shows in the transaction details.
How does selling work?+–
The market buys $NYK back from its own reserve. Proceeds depend on prices, fees and liquidity at the time. A looped position repays its loan before the tokens unlock.
How does looping work?+–
Looping borrows against $NYK and buys more, in one step. Loops are non-liquidatable. Looping opens with the market. Up to about 20× at launch, less as the price rises.
What is the community reserve?+–
A share of every $NYK fee goes to a community reserve. How it’s used is still to be decided.
How should I read the simulator?+–
As an illustration of how the current model behaves under the selected demand. Real results depend on who buys and sells, and when.
